In part two of the season finale, Nellie proclaims her love to Percival and the couple gets engaged and when Nels and Harriett find out that he's jewish, the couple gets married by Doc Baker. Laura learns that Almonzo risked his life to help the Blind School pay its rent to the building owner in Sleepy Eye and sits by his bedside until he recovers. At Nellie and Percival's wedding, Charles informs Laura and Almonzo that they can get married once Laura turns seventeen. |
