Following the loss of his wife, James’ grief cripples him from playing his beloved piano. His son Theo, on the other hand, uses his saxophone to cope with this trauma. Although they live in the same house, they no longer speak. One evening while practicing for a show, Theo stumbles on a specific melody line that reopens James’ wounds. Seeing the potential to mend their broken relationship, Theo seizes this moment and invites his father to an open mic jazz night. With the saxophone as his weapon, Theo leads James into the battleground of the psyche, with the hope of defeating James emotional demons. |
