When a tough guy attempts a routine purse snatching, what appears to be a simple petty-theft, actually turns into a hilarious and unpredictable “hide-and-seek” scenario. Directed by Marc Bennett, “Mother’s Day” is a fast-paced and heart-warming comedy, that takes place on the streets of New York City. Mr. Bennett, an award-winning art director and fine artist, gets an inspiring performance from Shirley Brown, 83, who in her debut film performance shows a promising career in Hollywood.
