Quite a lot different to the UK original but still captivating ♥

thank you for all the links pertaining to this show. I used to watch it with my late husband years ago when we had a house and cable Tv. This is one of many that we enjoyed back in those days
The really sad thing about this documentary is that it focuses on the very things he didn’t want to be known for. Pretty much nothing about the music but a very fascinating and hard look at what troubled him

Wow some people are so desperate to be wanted, they will do the MOST stupid things!!
Why would you invite someone you KNOW is in prison for attempted murder into yours, and your child’s(!!!) life????
This woman is possibly the dumbest woman ever :(
Well, what can you say? It is Tom Hanks after all.
Official TRAILERHERE
Ok wow, that was the first time a trailer ever made me tear up. Gonna save this gem for when my son and his gf are awake and watch it together ♥
This is one of the best, maybe THE best, shows on how our world came to be and how it functions. Loved hearing the perspectives of the astronauts and the way Will Smith explains things. Oh and let’s not forget, the stunning visuals!♥ 10/10
Wow! This is mindblowing! Just goes to shpw internet nerds are awesome!
Just finished all 83 episodes and literally have fallen in love with these characters. The British one was brilliant, I saw it in 1999 when it aired, but this far, far surpasses that. It’s gone into each person in a much deeper sense. Brian starts off as a thoroughly dislikable person and becomes someone who you can’t help but respect and love. Justin is just adorable from start to finish. Others who I was indifferent about at the start like Emmit, become very significant as the story unfolds and captured my heart. Michael and his mum are so funny and warm they melted my heart from the beginning. It’s beautiful to see love being expressed in so many different ways and from so many viewpoints. All in all this show is and edgey, gritty and an insiteful, hard look at prejudice and how it affects those experiencing it.
I’m going out on a limb to say, this is the best series I have ever seen. 11/10 *
Wow well I started off really down on this series but the final more than made up for everything that was rubbish along the way. To see Simon Cowell break down in tears was incredible in itself! The right person won, for sure ♥
I’d only ever seen the British version and now i’m seriously binge watching this entire US version. It’s funny, moving and eye-opening. One thing is maybe too much simulated sex lol but it carries political messages that are still as current today as they were back in 2000-2005. I’m surprised they kept the name as it stems from a British saying “Nowt queer as folk” which I doubt many Americans would have heard, from before gay and queer meant homosexual, meaning ‘There’s nothing as strange as people’.
Can we have the British one too by any chance?
Honestly, could those judges have crawled any further up Vinnie Jones’ ass?
This is perfect for all you romantics out there ♥ Loved it! ♥ 9/10
Brilliant TV on so many levels. It’s like Who Do You Think You Are on steriods! This has much more insight into the personal side of Ant & Dec, in particular, around Ant’s temporary fall from grace. I laughed, I cried but above all was held from beginning to end. ♥
WOW!! The guy at the end says it all “Stunning piece of evidence”. Don’t think I’ve ever seen such an incredible case before.
Very interesting and moving series. This shows the very best, and worst, of what humans are capable of. It demonstrates what lengths a good person will go to to prevent evil, and how far evil people will go to commit murder. 10/10
Very nostalgic and a win for Brady Bunch and DIY/Renovation fans alike. Bonus if you’re into both. ♥
YAY! \o/ SO happy with this year’s result! Not a dry eye in the house! ♥
My god Irish TV is dull as dishwater. No wonder there’s hardly any links, if any
Ok this has me very intrigued. How the hell is it possible that all the most powerful people in this Parish are getting away with everything they are controlling? I hope this series reaches the only right conclusion and they all end up in prison.
✴ Mortensen and Ali both give fabulous performances in this feel good road-trip drama that’s part buddy comedy, part history lesson, and part social commentary on friendship and race…When Tony Lip, a bouncer from an Italian-American neighborhood in the Bronx, is hired to drive Dr. Don Shirley, a world class black pianist, on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South, they must rely on The Green Book to guide them to the few establishments that were then safe for African-Americans. Confronted with racism, danger as well as unexpected humanity and humor they are forced to set aside differences to survive and thrive on the journey of a lifetime. This based on a true story film is an unexpected surprise. Few films are able to combine compelling drama and comedy without stretching one genre or the other…..Really well done, one of my favorite films of all time…. ✴Thank You Link Team.
Totally agree. Is beautiful to see such a sensitive study of mankind at it’s best ♥
Never seen anyone look so angry when winning $500,000 ..Hmmm guilty conscience maybe?
A beautiful and sensitive depiction of disability and the reality of trying to live an independent life in today’s society. Humour abounds in this accurate film 10/10 ♥
SMH Oh Rylan, bet you wish Big Brother hadn’t finished.
Zero to hero to minus zero ..Sorry mate, this is so bad!
It’s like a cross of Carnivale and Ripper Street with shades of GoT thrown in. All in all, I loved it! Flappy floppy wings and all lol ♥
Hmmm they “Don’t know why he did it” ..Umm was a clear case of homophobia and a hate crime. Why are they afraid to state that? :(
