Avengers: Endgame (2019)
Batman Begins (2005)
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

Still a great movie that I have watched dozens and dozens of times….then somedays you want something a little lighter hearted so you go watch the original Batman with Nicholson and Keaton…today there really is a Batman for all occasions LOL. This one is still one of my faves though. That deeper gravelly voice Bale used was perfect for Batman, and unlike Afflecks Batman, Bale didn’t need some electronic help…that was one of the things i didn’t like about his Batman.

The Guns of Navarone (1961)
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

Never seen this one..thanks Marlboro for the great review, i thoroughly enjoyed this classic. Love War movies based on True events, especially those that were heroic like this one..them original G-men, men of true grit and conviction…I am telling you, they were cut from a different cloth back then..back when Men were Men, not the lady boys you see nowadays who get offended if you disagree with them and need safe spaces if you hurt their feelings…Ugh.

American Hangman (2019)
Jhigh03 -1 points 5 years ago.

pardon me, An American Tail was a classic

Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

An AMERICAN Werewolf in London is one of the all time best Werewolf movies imo too lol..scared the CRAP out of me as a kid (the howl, it was the howl for sure, gave me nightmares lol) and the Transformation scene? Daaaamn, one of the best i have ever seen…pretty sure it is listed as one of the best transformation scenes ever made too ;)

Wizards of the Lost Kingdom (1985)
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

LOL what a blast from the past. Hard to believe this is what High-Fantasy movies were back in the day …They probably spent more money on the extras then they did on all the costumes and props in this movie LOL. This would have been considered Grand Scale back 35 yrs ago lol. Still, i loved this movie as a little kid, there was really very little else like it since Hollywood or any movie production company didn’t really do Fantasy movies or take them seriously with a decent budget…this was as good as it got back then (with MAYBE the exception of BeastMaster with Marc Singer which was way better than this but with the same rough budget lol..just better actors :P )…then things changed when “Willow” came out in 1988 (only 3 yrs after this!!) starring a young Val Kilmer, Billy Barty and of course Warwick Davis from “Leprechaun” fameand directed by none other than Ron Howard!…that movie didn’t do the best in Theater, but it gained quite the cult following and still does to this day hold up pretty well storywise…outdated CGI considered, the story was well executed and it had some really good and funny moments in it lol. I couldn’t help but laugh to myself at how seriously i took this movie as a kid and then watching it now…wow LOL…the kid is about to get attacked by a Spider Woman thing and Kor just walks in, takes a look and says “eh, here ya go kid” all calm and cool, hands the kid a mini sword (meanwhile he was like 3 feet from it lol) and smiles and watches as Simon proceeds to stab it repeatedly just like it was any normal every day thing…like a proud “Dad” watching his kid do something for the first time, only this time it was watching Simon stab to death a Spider Monster thing while it was practically on top of him and about to eat him supposedly LOL…i don’t know, you have to watch it to see what I am saying and why it was so funny seeing how non-chalant they were about it LOL..ah man these kinds of movies have come a LONG way…thank you Ron Howard for making Willow and thank you Peter Jackson for giving us Lord of the Rings…hard to believe that this movie is even a part of that same genre, even decades before LOL

Enemy Mine (1985)
RoboPhone 1 points 5 years ago.

Hey, now! Let’s play nice in the sandbox, kiddies! Or I will have to hit the vote button. LOL!

Canuckian 0 points 5 years ago.

I was just playin’ Robo, hence the JKS (jokes) ;)

Enemy Mine (1985)
octoberswill 1 points 5 years ago.

agree with Robo and Nox. unheralded classic.

Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

…but you don’t agree with me octoberswill? lol jks

Enemy Mine (1985)
Canuckian 5 points 5 years ago.

@Robophone i couldn’t agree more with your comment, Enemy Mine is an absolute Fantastic Sci-fi that is very much character driven..Gosset Jr. and Quaid both nailed their respective roles and the ending of this movie is absolutely superb..so many edge of your seat moments and some very touching scenes between the characters. I can come back to this film and watch it anytime, no matter my mood. Putting this straight into my Faves…again..LOL

One-Punch Man (2015) S2 E1
Canuckian 0 points 5 years ago.

OH MY GOD!!! SEASON 2!!?? I was googling this about a month ago because i have been waiting and waiting for more OPM after re-watching the first season numerous times and every article i read did NOT give any kind of return date, just that it was “planned” but no one knew when a 2nd season was being made or even coming out…so you can imagine my SURPRISE at seeing this! I am SUPER pumped!! THANK YOU uploaders!! You made this Canuck a VERY happy man this morning!! Saitama FTW!! I would love to see Goku and Saitama go head to head…Saitamas Ultimate Punch versus a Ka-me-ha-me-HA!(pronounced Kah-may-Hah-may-hah)in Super Sayan Blue form…oh man, the shockwaves from THAT!? Can you imagine? honestly though, break it down, you think a fight like that would be a good one? I don’t think it would be so one-sided on Saitamas side…SS-Blue is Goku’s God-Form, right? Even more powerful that SS-Red which is the Sayan God Form..Blue is like the Ultimate God Form or something, right? I never understood the difference..if Red is Sayan God Form, then what is Blue considered? I know they said in the show that Super Sayan Red takes a LOT less energy for Goku to hold onto than his Blue form does..anyone with any knowledge of this please enlighten me, would love to learn more about it ;) Anyways, I am off to watch this! Thanks again!! SO happy PW is back! :)

Gotham (2014) S5 E7
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

LOVE this season!! It is the darkest one yet, fitting for it being the final season. They have gone completely “Dark” for the last season of this great show, and all the Villains we have been watching take shape over the first 4 years are finally coming into their own, becoming more and more recognizable as the Notorious bad guys we all love to hate. They are “KILLING” it this final season! (Pardon the Pun)

Earth: Final Conflict (1997)
RoboPhone 1 points 5 years ago*.

One of Gene Roddengerry’s Sci-Fi Classics is now here at Primewire!

As of 04/11, all 5 Seasons are here.

Thank You Uploaders, for this rare find!

Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

Absolutely Amazing! I LOVED this show back in the day…would absolutely binge this again once all episodes are linked! Sure, the CGI is outdated, but storywise, this show had a good run and it had some pretty dark storylines and events. Can’t WAIT to rewatch this classic gem again!

Pearl Harbor: Into the Arizona (2016)
finigan1 1 points 5 years ago.

He must have watched it before, request it in the forum, they are usually pretty quick to add things.

Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

I would have thought that too, but his comment was made only and hour before i made my comment..so somehow, in the hour in between his comment and mine, the links (whatever there were) have disapeared? Wierd…

Pearl Harbor: Into the Arizona (2016)

Skyehawk how were you able to watch this when there are NO links? I want to watch this!

The Final Countdown (1980)
[deleted]
Canuckian 3 points 5 years ago.

Couldn’t agree more, this is an absolute amazing movie with a young Martin Sheen starring amongst many other familiar faces. Love the entire premise of this movie, and that ending! Loved it! Thanks for reminding me about FotN Marlboro, haven’t seen that in ages and ages..i was just looking to see what i wanted to watch tonight, think i might go give that classic fave of mine a watch…think i was a teenager the last time i watched it lol..honestly i remember very little so it will be like watching it for the first time again! All i remember is that i really loved that movie lol.

Captain Marvel (2019)
Canuckian 3 points 5 years ago.

I found this a bit underwhelming, but still a fun watch. Captain Marvel is one of the few heroes i don’t know much about, i just know that she is supposed to be one of the most powerful heroes but that is about all i knew lol. Nice lead up to Endgame though, now we know where the “beeper” came from that Fury had at the end of the last Avengers movie. Looking forward to Endgame though, looks awesome. Will be the end of an era though. Can’t believe it has only been what, 11 yrs since Iron Man came out? Feels like it has been a lot longer lol. I wonder though, what would Fury have done if Danvers was one of the unlucky ones who Thanos made disappear…i mean, it obviously doesn’t mean anything regarding how powerful you are, you are either one of the lucky ones, or unlucky ones. I will give this another watch when good copy comes out, but this copy wasn’t too bad…dark in places but not enough to really make you miss anything. Gets a bit blurry here and there too, but only for a minute or so.

The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part (2019)
Canuckian 0 points 5 years ago.

This didn’t even come close to being as good as the first movie imo. This felt mucy more geared to a specifically younger audience..unlike the first movie which had something for everyone and the humor was on point. In this one, why did they feel the need to explain almost every joke? It just makes you feel like you are being treated as an idiot when they feel the need to explain almost every witty one liner or joke in this movie. I don’t know..kids will love this for sure, but unlike the first movie, there isn’t much here for the older audience..for me, it fell way short and i feel like they were just trying too darn hard here and they ended up shooting themselves in the foot. I will give it a 5/10 because it had great visuals, but it fell short of the mark in evrything else. Too bad, i have been looking forward to watching this for awhile too…ah well, always have the first movie to go back too lol…Everything was definitely NOT awesome with this movie…but like i said, the little kiddies will love it i’m sure.

Kinky Kong (2006)
Canuckian 3 points 5 years ago.

The moral of this story, never give up chasing your dreams…COUGH..yeah…who comes up with this stuff LMAO!!! This would do even SyFy proud and give it a run for its money LOL! Kinky Kong…LMFAO!! I almost expected Ron Jeremy to make a cameo, he lives for this stuff LOL!

No Man's Land (1987)
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

The synopsis seems eerily familiar to the plot for The Fast and the Furious…I wonder if Paul Walkers character was based off Charlie Sheens character in this movie? Hell, he is even a rookie cop where Walker was a rookie FBI agent lol…i have never heard of this movie before but i always liked younger Charlie Sheens career back in the day, and i am always up for some 80’s nostalgia watching. I am going to give this a go and see if the idea for the Fast and Furious franchise started right here with this movie because like i said, the synopsis reads almost exactly like the plotline for F&F…will update after I watch the movie and give you my two cent opinion on that lol.

Who's Harry Crumb? (1989)
Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

Can’t believe it has been 25 yrs already. I still remember how sad i was the day i found out about him dying. Some of my fondest memories are tied in with his movies like this one for example, and Uncle Buck which i think is my 2nd all time Candy movie (this being my #1 fave Candy movie) Plains Trains and Automobiles is another great with Steve Martin…you get to see a different side of him in that, with some of the most heart warming moments ever..great movie…and let us not forget the all-time classic The Great Outdoors…Hope he is still making people laugh up “there” RIP John Candy, we still miss you here in Canada, you were one of our greatest!

Swamp People (2010)
[deleted]
Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

I was sure i did, guess i either missed the button or i was mistaken so i’ll own that. Apologies. I am still getting used to the new “system” the new PW has..i like the idea of a section for comments that might be construed as having spoilers and you are right, my comment absolutely contained a spoiler for the season 2 finale which is why i was sure i checked the “contains spoilers” box..guess i didn’t..weird.

Swamp People (2010)
Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

Just finished Season 2 but can’t start season 3 as there are no links at all…can’t WAIT to start season 3! I can’t believe i never watched this show before, talk about an adrenaline rush every time they come across a huge Gator! Would have been nice to see peoples reactions in the Season 2 finale after Troy landed that Legendary Gator the locals called Rugu-Ru..that thing was almost 14 feet long! Ah well, he got his bragging rights for sure lol…anyways, i requested in forums for links for Season 3 and for someone to hopefully go through the rest of the seasons and add lnks to the episodes that are missing links because i am totally binge watching this amazing show lol. Cheers!

Instant Family (2018)
Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

@Robophone and Marksmanbbs…If you want to talk about movies that bring a Tear to your eye, then you HAVE to watch a movie with Sean Penn and Michelle Pfeifer called “I Am SAM”…have watched it MANY times and it still gets me every single time i watch it. I think it is one of Seans best roles ever, superbly acted and literally if you don’t feel for him or have strong emotional reactions by the end of the movie, then you have no heart lol. No seriously it is THAT good.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018)
Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

I have been waiting for this to come out in good copy…totally worth the wait! Make sure you watch to the very end of the credits, there is a nice little snippit in there that had me laughing out loud and gave me a great shot of nostialgia lol. Great action, great characters, great story through and through. IMO Sony nailed this. Would absolutely pay to see another installment like this in theater now that i know what to expect. A solid 10/10 and a true joy for ANY spider fan!

Das Boot (2018)
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

Oh WOW, never heard of this 8 part series, but the movie from the 80’s starring Jurgen Prochnow is one of my all time favorite war movies EVER..i grew up watching Das Boot with my Dad, and i always remembered the ending most of all as being particularily emotional and riveting. I am VERY much looking forward to watching this series! Thank You!

Running Scared (2006)
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

This is an EXCELLENT movie!! A thrill ride from beginning to end! Non-stop, edge of your seat stuff right here.

Jaws: The Inside Story (2010)
Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

Being one of my all time favorite movies, this was a very interesting watch for me, and would be an interesting watch for anyone who is interested in the behind the scenes goings on in any movies..especially a legendary movie like JAWS….thoroughly enjoyed watching this.

Man vs. Wild (2006) S1 E9
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

So far all these episodes are wrong. They are all one episode behind, for eg. Episode 5 is really episode 6, episode 9 titled Deserted Island is actually episode 10 and the Deserted Island episode is actually episode 8 here…Just a heads up for anyone is all…not a big deal, not sure if other seasons are like this, but all the episodes i have watched thus far have been like this.

Ray Donovan (2013) S1 E10
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

I finally get what all the hype is on this show…it has been on my Watch list for quite some time and i started it the other day…10 episodes into the first season now and yeah, i can honestly say i am hooked. Love Liev Schreiber in this, he suits the role of Ray Donovan perfectly. Jon Voight as Mickey, the creepy yet strangely charming patriarch of the Donovan clan..i mean wow, the casting is spot on here. Great show!

2010: Moby Dick (2010)
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

This isn’t no Warner Bros movie, this is The Asylum and yeah, it is typical Asylum stuff right here. Not sure what you watched Chienrouge but uhhh..yea..no.

The Ghost and the Darkness (1996)
Canuckian 2 points 5 years ago.

This is one of my absolute favorite movies..Jaws on land with Lions instead of a Shark, and even better, it is based on a True Story and actual events. Go Google the Lions of Tsavo and you will read some absolutely incredible facts about these two lions…speculations about WHY they did what they did for eg. and to be honest, it makes sense….you can read up on them either before or after watching this movie and it will only add to the absolute thrill this movie is. Talk about terrifying though…This is one of Val Kilmers best imo, right up there with his portrayal of Doc Halliday in Wyatt Earp and of course, Madmartigan in Willow. I rate this an EASY 10/10 with a high rewatchability factor, especially after you learn more about these two beasties.

Titans (2018) S1 E11
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

Wow, i gotta admit, this series is amazing. DC loves to put a dark twist on its stuff, and this is as dark as it gets imo. But, they are making it work! This isn’t your Saturday morning Teen Titans let me assure you, this is dark, gritty, bloody…can’t believe i never knew about this series until a few days ago. I just binged all the episodes over the last two days, now i need to wait…wish i hadn’t of heard of this show until after a couple full seasons came out lol..ah well, it is always like that with the great shows.

Oh i know, i was with PW for many years, i know how to go about requesting links..i was just shocked that there wasn’t a single link on ANY of these episodes anywhere lol…and i just haven’t gotten around to requesting it on Forums yet ;) but thanks anyways YKJack

Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2018)
Canuckian 0 points 5 years ago.

This show sucks compared the most recent previous version of these Heroes in a Half Shell…This is totally dumbed down for little kids…heck, i enjoyed watching the last series with my daughter who is a huge TMNT fan…i can’t believed they cancelled that for this. No comparison imo.

No Links anywhere!? On ANY episode? dang….

Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)
Odie 1 points 5 years ago.

The main actor got into an accident while first filming it, and wasnt sure if he was going to go back to acting/finish the movie cause it was traumatic or some junk. I believe that is why it took so long if my memory serves me right.

Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

ah ok, thanks for that bit of trivia Odie :)

Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)
Canuckian 1 points 5 years ago.

Took long enough for this to come out after Scorch Trials..had to rewatch series from the beginning to remind myself what was going on, but it was worth it..i really enjoyed this trilogy.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018)
Canuckian 0 points 5 years ago.

I really enjoyed this! Some real big surprises and it was nice to see Hogwarts again, even if just for a little bit lol. I did not expect that ending though, what a twist! Can’t wait for the next one!
