USA(not America) entered the WW1 only for one reason:
to guarantee,that the countries,which had borrowed before from it, remained able to pay back their debts!
britain and france were nearly collapsing and then there would have been not “pay back”..and both nations intended to get the money needed from Germany.
how on earth,btw, a “neutral” nation is delivering war goods only to one side and stay neutral?

I’m a huge Adam Carola fan since I was a youngn’ and this is cringe to the fkn max, embarrassing to watch, embarrassed for him while watching IDK but it is rough, so disappointed.

Hmm, a remake without Mel as Max. Interesting and also somewhat terrifying. Who would you cast as a young Mad Max?

Nice. Ironically, he wasn’t that pleased with the final product. He questioned many of the decisions made while filming and wished he had done things differently, but the limited budget prevented him from going back and reshooting any of it. I’d love to see him do a remake of it with a budget that gave him the flexibility to make it the film he had envisioned.

Recently discovered that George Miller is a physician, holy sh*t… Trying to find one of his first films, (Violence in Cinema: Part 1 1971).
I love the entire Mad Max franchise, but as much as I love Joy, I love Theron more…
I enjoyed Furiosa very much ~ I think Hemsworth stole this one away from ATJ - completely. He not just a pretty face, anymore. Good on him… Fury Road is still in second place! Road Warrior will always be first…

First episode was pretty good

Chris Hemsworth was the show stealer for sure in this film. He made it watchable. But as I said before. This isn’t really a Mad Max movie. This isn’t even close to as good as Fury Road was. Anya Taylor-Joy killed the film if you ask me.

I know everyone is praising Anya Taylor-Joy, but I am confused on why. I know people love her from The Menu which is what everyone keeps bringing up when talking about her … well honestly The Menu was an amazing movie for sure. But it was because of all of the other actors that made the movie so good. I found her to be a bit boring. She seemed so robotic, slow paced. Like she was high on shrooms the whole time kind of slow. And sadly, she wasn’t much better in this film. Least to me. If you enjoyed it, good on you. Just her acting is not my cup of tea. I think they needed to find someone closer to Charlize Theron. She looks nothing like her, acts nothing like her. Charlize is what made the character a hit in the first place.

This movie as a whole was … okay. Once again it was all the other actors that made the movie watchable for me. I know this isn’t going to be a popular opinion for a review, but it is how I feel about the movie. Please understand I am not telling you to not watch it. You might enjoy it.

Comments not sounding so great but I like the series as I started with Road Warrior as a kid. I’ll rewatch Mad Max Fury Road from 2015 since we are saying Furiosa is a prequel to Fury Road. Maybe that’ll make Furiosa better as I wait for HD quality to give it a go. Watching Fury Road again was great because I caught a lot of things I didn’t remember so maybe Furiosa will unravel some of it even more.

Everything this country does is self-serving, despite all our assertions that we do stuff out of the goodness of our hearts. Most Americans probably actually believe that, but the rest of the world see us more clearly, even if they are hesitant to tell us so to our faces. Think “The Emperor’s New Clothes”.

Felt less revisionist than just a fluff piece to me, but that’s kind of to be expected given there are only 2 episodes, and it was produced by that hard-hitting mainstay of American morning shows, Robin Roberts. That she has won the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism is just a bad joke.

Hence why I said I have to disagree. Kids might like this film for a minute or two. That’s what you said. I am telling you that isn’t the case. And just because you don’t like the film doesn’t mean others will not like it either. It’s a good family movie.

Terrible writing. Decent episode. They seem to have forgot that the lady resident was a combat medic and supposedly had all that trauma experience, but now somehow was clueless how to tackle this gunshot.
