This graphic telling of Ju-On Origins is gritty, gruesome and filled to the waterline with rapes, murder, abuse, violence and sex… it holds nothing back and is not for children. This is the original Japanese telling and is nothing like its anglicised counterpart “The Grudge” (which is originally Ju-On and succeeds this series). Hold onto your heart; nothing is sacred in this horrifically near perfect creation. Remember though, this is an “origins” story… it is not Ju-On itself, it is merely the beginning. 4.9/5
