I learned something useful in this episode. The Rove Beetle (aka “Charlie Ants”) does horrific damage to the epidermis, and they are found nearly everywhere in the world near water (fresh and salt). They are very small, and excrete a toxin when their abdomen is crushed (easily/accidentally done to small, unnoticeable insects like these). The venom/toxin is an adhesive, glue-like substance, which sticks to the recipient. The affects on the skin are not seen for days, usually beginning on the second day, and include extreme blistering, burning, pain, and puss that grows progressively worse. I enjoyed this show a bit more, though I firmly maintain that “Caveman” is thoroughly irritating. As is the constant whining they both torture the viewer with (“Why is this happening?”, “Why did you do that (directed at the creature)?”).
