I love how conscious The Nordic peoples are… concerning animal treatment and the laws that govern it. If more people could be like that, and continue to act responsibly… Mankind’s chances, at Long-term survival, might be a lot brighter. I mean that, only as a secondary consideration. I DO NOT believe that our right to exist, trumps theirs. Or any other life-form’s rights, for that matter. I believe the Norse could teach us all a thing or two about beneficial, symbiotic, co-existence… and what it really looks like. I hope that they continue to retain this characteristic, as a people. And there are absolutely no excuses which can be justified, any longer, when it involves another country’s willingness to follow these blatantly obvious examples. At least something good has come, of the advent and evolution of the Internet, and the culpability it tends to enforce, by default (at least a tad faster than the average awareness of these issues). I grew up going to Native American gatherings, spiritual ceremonies. No-one needs to teach me that. Any species, that CLAIMS to be “Higher Evolved,” than another, with which it co-exists… shouldn’t need to be reminded of this INHERANT responsibility. The simple fact that we ARE “Differently Intelligent,” makes it utterly shameful! What do you think would happen, if we all came to an agreement, that we weren’t responsible for our own offspring’s moral development, either? I think you know. It’s unfortunate, that being forced to act, is NOT… the same as learning. Because Natures creatures, as well as OUR children (and every generation to come) will suffer for it. It’s beyond disgusting. And when we ask ourselves, “What is the QUALITY of our species?” Or, “Do we REALLY deserve to continue to exist?” We should answer ourselves. Honestly. Just look at how we treat the helpless members of OUR OWN species. LIKE SHIT! That’s how. Well, most of us. By sheer percentage. The only way one can judge ANYTHING, justly, is in it’s relation, and in it’s juxstaposition, to others. If animals… spoke human and could take us to court… what do you suppose they’d say? I can guarantee you one thing, it would likely be much more compassionate, than our response. If our words even paid any homage, to our actual deeds. Anyway, I give this a 6/5✨ For that reason, alone. But I also, really enjoyed this film. It was well done. That kid, and that calf… were adorable. 😉👌
