When Sir Curtis is at an auction, he witnesses a bidding war over a mirror that hardly seems worth it, and wonders what sparked it. When the man who bought the mirror is found murdered shortly afterwards, Sir Curtis decides this is a case the Department should look into.The initial clues lead the detectives to a boutique in Paris, where Jason makes he acquaintance of the lady who owns it. Thus the Department gets on the trail of her jealous boyfriend, Yves, who becomes their main suspect. Stewart and Annabelle set up a stakeout and witness a mirror just like the first one being brought into Yves' apartment, and then use his absence to break in - and find that there is much more to these mirrors than meets the eye...
