As Vert joy rides across the salt flats being pursued by Sheriff John J. Johnson Jr he is sucked into a stormshock portal. He rescues Sage – the last of the Blue Sentients – who is fleeing from Kalus and his Vandals. While in the zone, she uses one of the five crystals on her necklace, along with the MOBI, to transform Vert's old car into the ultra-cool Saber. She then sets the MOBI to self-destruct so the Vandals can't get their claws on it. Driving his new high-powered ride, Vert escapes with Sage back to Earth. |
