The competition reaches the halfway point, where the contestants are challenged by Mary Berry to prepare the ultimate Sunday roast. The only rule is that the meal must involve roasted meat and some form of potatoes - they are otherwise free to do whatever they want. Two cooks compete to produce the best pork crackling, while another adds a Morrocan twist. For the second task, Chris Bavin challenges the cooks to make banana bread without using flour, while the final round involves a classic French dessert. |
