Stranger Things (2016) S1 E8
Daimyon 2 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I think Jane was the name Eleven’s birth mother gave her before she was taken. The mention it in either Chapter 5 or Chapter 6 when they interview that semi-comatose lady who underwent the MK Ultra experiments.

SnakePliscan 2 points 3 years ago.

I thought it might a been her , thanks for clearing that up for me.

Two eps in and the mystery deepens, more weird happenings, if youll like paranormal than this might be for you…

The Boys (2019)
poolie123 -3 points 3 years ago.

Elijah, Seth Rogan is a terrible actor. Your ugly children would be ashamed.

SnakePliscan 3 points 3 years ago.

So at some point your opinion was dismissed as shameless and ugly and now you’re taking it out on someone else ?

The Boys (2019)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

The kinkster in me liked the dynamic between Madelyn Stillwell and homelander, wish they pushed the boundary on that one a little more.
Popclaw and the landlord that was pretty wack, yup first season was pretty good looking forward the next one.

The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America (2019)

IMDB=7.5 … This amater sluoth does a pretty decint job tracking the clues, It was shocking how people spun this homicide.

SnakePliscan 0 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

It was nuts to see the prosecution use a mentally challenged person to present false testimony, thank christ for Zimmerman that the jury saw through the BS !

Greenberg (2010)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

Deep character study, of a guy who is hard to like, even he doesn’t like himself, so we go on this quest with him in search of some kind of humanity, funny thing is as the movie go’s on you realize he’s pretty ordinary so what is the rest of the world about ? 3.5/5 enjoy

My Old Lady (2014)
SnakePliscan 2 points 3 years ago.

Actually the apartment comes with a lot more than an old lady, its rather fascinating to watch this character discover things about himself and his family.

Honour (2020)
Zolleverin 2 points 3 years ago.

Well, It happens in India too. There are a couple of cases every 6 months so. Its more to do with that conservative mentality of ‘What will people think if my daughter/son marries him/her. My own kid is defying the upbringing I gave. I will rather end this than watch them together’.

SnakePliscan 2 points 3 years ago.

Yeah when people talk or think like that you just know the indoctrination is deeply hard-wired in, its scary and sad!

Honour (2020)
SnakePliscan 2 points 3 years ago.

There is a difference between evolving and adapting, adhering to a 1400 yr old moral standard while living in a brave new world is the actual definition of retardation!

Ammonite (2020)
SnakePliscan 2 points 3 years ago*.

I had no idea this was inspired by a real person so i viewed it more as a imaginary character study, the actors were amazing and the film had a real mood about it, i found the story quite interesting in the way it reimagined this characters life.

Death and the Maiden (1995)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

The acting by the three main actors in this is just mind blowing, Sigourney Weaver as a woman with PTSD is epic ! 6/5

The Secrets We Keep (2020)
SnakePliscan 5 points 3 years ago.

IT looks like this is going to be a remake of “Death and the Maiden” where probably one of the finest pieces of acting by Sigourney Weaver ever happened, im gonna watch just to see if someone can even come close to that. Ive seem Datm like 5 times !

Chemical Hearts (2020)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

Kinda neat the way the pace of the film is set by one of the main characters, the theme is the developing teenage brain and the story weaves its way around that, there is some real inner turmoil here that is fascinating to watch. enjoy.

The Craft (1996)
SnakePliscan 6 points 3 years ago.

Enjoyable without expectation, but then i must confesses i will watch anything that has Fairuza Balk in it !

The Nest (2020)
crozar 1 points 3 years ago.

i hate depressing movies , makes you wonder if it is trying to fix the depression of everyday life for making us stronger or to pitty people in general so that our ego will consume us to be more prideful towards eachother and blind of the real reality

SnakePliscan 3 points 3 years ago.

I think depression makes you more aware of the tenuous nature of an ideal situation.

Bad Company (1995)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

Ellen Barkin at her best , a pleasure to watch her expressions as she works a scene, an interesting cat and mouse with interesting wrap.
Gia Carides plays the dark horse, soo hot! enjoy

A Map of the World (2000)

It was refreshing to see freedom of speech was still alive in 1995, the PCer’s would have their thumb on this one today.

Babyteeth (2020)

I wanted all of those adverbs and adjectives to wash over me and cleanse me of my obscenity but they never came. Instead I am left in a pit of despair hoping for rope of decent entertainment to pull me out.

Seriously, your username reminded me how much I love Escape From New York. Not L.A. I’m gonna watch that instead of this pretentious BS.

SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

Glad i could help, lol.

Bad Girls Behind Bars (2016)

I am no way planning in watching this movie in anyway I dont want FBI coming to break down my door LOL. But seriously who legit thought this movie was in anyway a good Idea. Who funded this movie Jared from Subway?

SnakePliscan 2 points 3 years ago.

1981x it was someone who wanted to educate the ignorant, we still have a long way to go before we can say we are evolved. There are places where adults mutilate little girls genitalia and that is considered acceptable, Cuties doesn’t even move the needle compared to all the other stuff you chose to ignore !!!

Babyteeth (2020)
SnakePliscan 3 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

When seriously ill teenager Milla falls madly in love with smalltime drug dealer Moses, it’s her parents’ worst nightmare. But as Milla’s first brush with love brings her a new lust for life, things get messy and traditional morals go out the window. Milla soon shows everyone in her orbit - her parents, Moses, a sensitive music teacher, a budding child violinist, and a disarmingly honest pregnant neighbour - how to live like you have nothing to lose. What might have been a disaster for the Finlay family instead leads to letting go and finding grace in the glorious chaos of life. Babyteeth joyously explores how good it is not to be dead yet and how far we will go for love.

So you didn’t find it wickedly perverse, intensely moving, bracing blast of air ?

The Fare (2018)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

Brianna Kelly says in a interview that the film is inspired by the Twilight Zone, Star Trek and The X-Files her fav genre is Si-Fi . Parts are in B&W just like the TZ was.

The Fare (2018)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago*.

Writin by Brinna Kelly who plays Penny in this, a mystery for sure and the clues are there, everything that is happening means something, so keep an open mind. 3.5/5

Are All Men Pedophiles? (2013)
BenjaminFinkel -1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

1 - More crotch shots of 11 year olds than I can count on my fingers
2 - A child has water splashed on her butt as she dances
3 - A scene involving an adult showing sexual interest
4 - A scene of a child hurriedly pulling down her jeans and panties to take a crotch picture

Honestly, I could go on, but since you’ve watched the film and enjoyed it
enough to defend it maybe you can enlighten me on your favourite scene?

SnakePliscan 12 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

I dont know what you are talking about, i was referring to the above movie, Are All Men Pedophiles which these comments are supposed to refer to ???

Judging by the pro-Cuties comments on this site, I’d say the answer is: pretty darn close.

What western society dictates and what history recounts are quite interesting when practicality and biology take center stage, definitely some stereotypes being twisted and bent here. Very informative. enjoy.

The Man Who Knew Infinity (2016)

The Man Who Knew Infinity (2016)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

Wow what an amazing human being, what an amazing and at the same time tragic story, there are so many what ifs and if onlys that that in itself is as mind boggling as what this guy could do with numbers ! enjoy.

I Met a Girl (2020)
SnakePliscan 3 points 3 years ago.

When a movie does a story where mental illness is involved the question is are they gonna get it right, def not a subject to be trifled with. So this kinda plays out with a beginning, middle and end, some parts predictable, others not so much a good story though as it all comes together.

Australia (2008)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

In a word, Epic! who says a man cant cry for his love, especially if there is evil run amuck, and then we can throw in some endogenous and world politics too for good measure. It was a good 6 genre (yup 6) story for sure!

Sparrows Dance (2013)

Not gonna say how many times ive watched this but i will say the acting , writing and storyline are engrossing, this is phyicalogical romance at its best…enjoy

The Onion Field (1980)
yellow_rose1 2 points 3 years ago.

this is going to be my next watch. I’m not sure if I saw it many years ago when it came out, probably. But I’m sure it’s worth another watch

SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

Let me know what you think.

The Onion Field (1980)
SnakePliscan 2 points 3 years ago.

Ive seen this a couple times, there is some first rate acting and this may be the movie where everyone said wow james Wood is a good actor, not to be overlooked tho John Savage was just as good and his character is the opposite of Wood’s.

The other thing is this is based on a true story, its an emotional ride so hang on for that…enjoy

In the Cut (2003)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

Haven’t seen this in a while but i remember it as a erotic crime mystery very well produced.
If memory serves me this is the first movie Mark Ruffalo made after his brain surgery and he was in a weird place at that time, i think it made for a unique performance.
Apparently this is a love it or hate it movie, i watched it 3 times i think. enjoy.

Dirty Dancing (2017)

Delicacy (2011)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

The funniest part was the CC translation, the film in european style is drawn out, all these little details, kind of different in that one of the characters had his inner dialogue illustrated with fantasies as the story progresses.

Definitely, Maybe (2008)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

Yeah this is beautifully written and acted, pretty believable with some nice twists thrown in ta keep ya guessing. Def worth a watch.

Dirty Dancing (2017)
SnakePliscan 3 points 3 years ago.

1964 and people are all about appearances and morals from the bible, so how does all this correctness carry racism and sexual repression and rejection of free expression, that’s what the dirty dancing storey is.
So is this remake as good as the original, well interestingly they expanded it and hit on more topics about the time.
Abigail Breslin is really good in this, you can tell the whole cast gave their best, personally i’ve never liked Dirty Dancing as a movie but had to see why this remake only got a 3.1 on IMDB and i think i know why but i still enjoyed it.

SnakePliscan 3 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

So there is a bunch of lip syncing in this and i think a lot of viewers may not have liked that, hence the imdb 3.1 its mostly at the end so not to worry.

Professor Marston and the Wonder Women (2017)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

I had no idea that the Family behind Wonder Woman was so amazing, the physiological aspects of Wonder Woman where no accident on Marsdens part, i think he really loved and respected woman in general.

Wings of Desire (1987)
SnakePliscan 1 points 3 years ago.

I don’t think i got it, so for me it was kinda boring, i think it was trying to be poetic, perhaps my mind is not sophisticated enough for this brand.
