Orphan (2009)
DemandingFemale 2 points 4 years ago.

I came here to see if anyone had mentioned the recent media coverage of the real case. Scary and creepy, eh? I watched some of her interview with her new weird adoptive parents and didn’t buy a word they said. I hope the original adopters aren’t found guilty of their charges.

Canuckian 1 points 4 years ago.

what is her name DF? don’t think i’ve heard this news story, wouldn’t mind googling it myself..would appreciate it?

RoboCop 2 (1990)
Canuckian 0 points 4 years ago.

yup, the one of the rare instances where the 2nd movie was better than the first..they became really stupid after Peter Weller was replaced, so i suggest stopping here at Robocop 2 and NOT watching the later movies..the first two were the best. This movie brings back so many memories, one of my faves as a teen. 9/10..

The Battle of Jangsari (2019)
Canuckian -3 points 4 years ago.

You know your career is dying fast when you go from Hollywood blockbusters to Korean movies Produced by Korean movie companies…not to say that Korean movies are bad mind you, i can think of a few that are just amazing (Train to Busan…if you love Zombie flicks, you HAVE to watch that movie, one of the best Z flicks i’ve ever seen!) but when you are an American actor/actress who went from making big budget Hollywierd movies to movies made in Korea, you know your fizzling out…not that she could ever act anyways lol…ah well..RIP Megan Fox..you were pretty damn fine before the plastic surgery..you should have left your face alone lol

The Mandalorian (2019) S1 E2
tamerlane -6 points 4 years ago.

Boring.

Canuckian 2 points 4 years ago*.

Please, pray tell, what about this episode did you find boring? If you can use your argument and convince me that this episode was boring in any way at all, i will concede…if not, then you are just trolling. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, i will give you that, but looking at it from all sides, i honestly cannot fathom how anyone would find this “boring”..if you don’t like Star Wars mythology at all, then you wouldn’t watch this in the first place much less call it boring…so if you are going to make a one word comment such as “boring” then please, elaborate on WHY you find this boring. Comments like yours piss me off so that is why I am making a big deal about this. I am of a mind that if you have nothing constructive to say, don’t say anything..but if you somehow DO just HAVE to say it, then at the very least offer an explanation along with it..if you can’t, then just don’t say anything! (or you are just trolling…)

The Mandalorian (2019) S1 E2
Canuckian 5 points 4 years ago*.

Wow, another excellent episode!! I KNEW i recognized the voice of the little Pig Faced dude helping the Mandalorian, its Nick Nolte’s voice for sure…especially since i just watched the latest Gerrard Butler movie where he is accused of attempting to assasinate the Prez..Nick Nolte played his Dad in that movie so his voice is fresh in my mind. Cool Beans. Anyways, hope this keeps up, this is my new fave series for sure! “I Have Spoken”..(cheers Doomage ;) ) lol

Locke (2014)
Jhigh03 4 points 4 years ago.

Take notice, if ur a fan of real acting then u owe it to yourself to see this. Hardy carries this whole movie and places himself at the top of the craft with his performance. I had seen him do Bane and Bronson but this really caused me to seek out his movies and take notice.

Canuckian 3 points 4 years ago.

If you like Hardy, you should watch the movie titled “Warrior”…one of his best imo, the entire cast was amazing..one of my fave movies..https://www.primewire.li/movie/411964-watch-warrior

Canuckian 5 points 4 years ago.

Sorry, but “daft Moonfruit”? LMFAO!! I am absolutely stealing that and making it my new insult! Cheers mate lol

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989)
Canuckian 1 points 4 years ago*.

Man, talk about a walk down memory lane here with all the recent 80’s/early 90’s movies being uploaded LOL..LOVEIN it!! This one right here though..Bill and Ted…what can i say that hasn’t been said a million times about this classic….well, on a personal note then, i had a bit of a crush on “Joan of Arc” in this movie when i was a teenager LOL. Heard they are making a third stallment with Keanu AND Winters reprising their roles..unfortunatley Rufus won’t be there due to Carlins death years ago, but still, I am apprehensive about it…the first two movies, this one and Bogus Journey were both great, this one being the best though…i am thinking maybe they should have left it well enough alone, but, i guess we will have to wait and see…at least Keanu and Alex are coming back, ad i am sure Keanu (due to his star power, something he didn’t have much of back when this movie first came out) will allow him some creative input and hopefully keep this new third movie from going off the rails and ruining what was a great duo of movies…anyways, if you haven’t watched Bill and Ted, then what are you waiting for lol…watch it NOW lol

Uncle Buck (1989)
Canuckian 8 points 4 years ago.

One of John Candys BEST imo..but then again, aren’t they ALL amazing? The guy was a legend…It’s nice that i grew up just down the street from where he did, i always felt a connection with the man i guess being from the same neighborhood (just different generations)…anyways, Uncle Buck is one of my top 3 faves…another is Who’s Harry Crumb and thirdly, i think its a tie between The Great Outdoors and Planes, Trains and Automobiles…as for Uncle Buck starring a very young Mackauly Culkin in his first movie role prior to Home Alone, i give this a solid 10/10 for great comedy and a great coming of age story. Thanks Uploaders!!

Teen Wolf (1985)
Canuckian 0 points 4 years ago.

HA, i totally forgot about this movie LOL! LOVED this movie growing up..Styles and his green van, and the rooftop surfing…the soundtrack for this movie had me liking the Beachboys lol. A Michael J. Fox CLASSIC in every sense, right up there with the entire BttF franchise. Total 80’s classic right here.

Free Willy (1993)
Canuckian 1 points 4 years ago.

Definitely a childhood favorite of mine and will ALWAYS hold a special place for me, as it surely does for many others…there is just something about Free Willy that resonate with so many people. Great movie, was one of the best for 1993.

Frequency (2000)
Canuckian 0 points 4 years ago.

AMAZING movie…the new TV show called Frequency is based on this movie. This is one of my faves…lots of surprises and a great twist ending. I highly recommend giving this a watch, especially if you like Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel. I give this a solid 9/10 easy.

Heavenly Sword (2015)
Canuckian 1 points 4 years ago.

I get the feeling Thomas Jane phoned in his lines here…guess he needed a quick $100 or something..he had like 3 lines and he sounded like he was half asleep..i only point this out because his name is prominent here which it shouldn’t be..besides that, i enjoyed this..never played the game but might look into it after watching this. Pretty cool story and animation and the fight scenes weren’t too bad either…pretty good for passing a lazy Sunday morning. I give it a 6/10 Cheers!

Joker (2019)
Canuckian 0 points 4 years ago.

HD rip already! Thank You! Ok, so this was a damn depressing, dark twisted tale of a mentally disturbed guy who is trying to just “fit in” so to speak, and this is probably the BEST origin story i have ever seen…i mean, WOW. The Joker has always said all it takes is “One bad Day”….poor Arthur Fleck had “One bad LIFE”…this movie actually had you feeling bad for the Joker of all people!! That is how good it was! I would be REALLY surprised if Joaquin doesn’t get some sort of Oscar nod at the very LEAST. Absolutely incredible!

The Recall (2017)
Canuckian 1 points 4 years ago.

Can’t remember why Snipes stopped making movies, i know he had major legal issues, but it is nice to see him trying to make a comeback…gotta start somewhere i guess…would love to see him play Blade again…

Deep Blue Sea 2 (2018)
Canuckian 0 points 4 years ago.

Had no idea they made a second one…the first one was pretty great, i love shark movies lol…well, heres hoping they didn’t totally butcher it..

Payback (1999)
Canuckian 1 points 4 years ago.

I agree that this is an amazing movie..i ALSO highly suggest “Get the Gringo”..it has a similar theme to “Payback” in that it is a revenge plot…it is one of my top Mel Gibson movies as well…If you loved this movie, i am SURE you will love “Get the Gringo”. https://www.primewire.li/movie/798666-watch-get-the-gringo

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018)
Canuckian 2 points 4 years ago.

Just binged both seasons over the last few days and this series absolutely blew me away…high suspense and drama, lots of great action and some top notch acting all around, ESPECIALLY from John Krasinski…he sure has shown his acting chops after his log stint as one of the main characters in “The Office”….very much looking forward to a third season!! The second season was especially poignant for me because i spent some time living in Venezuela in my late 20’s and a lot of what they showed in the second season was very true regarding how difficult life is down there though it is MUCH worse now of course..when i was there, Hugo Chavez was President and he was a complete Dictator…i remember sitting on a boardwalk cafe in Puerto La Cruz talking to a friend who grew up there and i was criticizing the President (something we take for granted here in Canada calle Freedom of Speech) and i was warned almost right away to NOT talk like that in public..that the stories of people going missing and being taken from their houses at night were REAL..especially if you are a foreigner…scary stuff. Hell, i had to drive through 2 Police/military checkpoints every time i had to go into the city (i was living in a small rural village called Playa Colorada) and i would constantly be harrassed the moment they saw i wasn’t Venezuelan…it was always “suggested” i pay a “fee” to pass through the checkpoint..(they think all “gringos” are “rich”)..one time they were having a BBQ out back the checkpoint…they brought me their propane tank and put it in the trunk and suggested i drive 30 minutes to a town called Santa Fe (the only place close enough that had a propane refilling station) and fill their tank for them..at my expense of course..and bring it back or I would have “issues” getting through that checkpoint then and in future…you don’t have much choice since you HAVE to go through that checkpoint anytime you need to go into Puerto La Cruz..ther was only one road leading there so no way around it…anyways, yeah…corruption is the norm down there, especially with the local police. Ok, story over lol…this is a GREAT show..WATCH IT lol

Dog Soldiers (2002)
Themoo -3 points 4 years ago.

Yes, I saw AWIL, that’S why I mentioned it - it was the genesis of the horror comedy, and to date, still the greatest werewolf film - this Dog Soldiers is one of the few that came close.

Canuckian 0 points 4 years ago.

yah you are right, not sure why i made it a question..must have been thinking of something else when i replied..edited and corrected making it a statement, not a question. The rest of my reply stands though lol

This is the actual Season Premiere now, not the special..thanks guys!! This season looks like its going to be one of the best ones yet!! If you like this show, give “The Curse of Civil War Gold” a lookyloo…it is financed by the Laginas as well and has some great discoveries and suspense..really looking forward to the next season of that show as well! RIP D.B. :(

Dog Soldiers (2002)
Themoo 1 points 4 years ago.

Easily one of the best Werewolf films, in a world where good Werewolf films are exceedingly rare. There’s American Werewolf in London at the very top, and Dog Soldiers possibly 2nd best of the genre, sharing that spot with Silver Bullet.

Canuckian 0 points 4 years ago*.

Thanks for the great review..An American Werewolf in London terrified me as a kid, the living room scene has one of the most realistic “transformation” scenes ever made as far as i know…they showed the entire transformation in great detail..pretty sure it is even in some top ten lists for that kind of thing..i am always on the hunt for a GOOD Werewolf movie, and i have heard of this movie before, just never got around to watching it..think i will be putting this on my “To Watch” list for this weekend..Cheers mate.

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018)
Canuckian 2 points 4 years ago*.

I thought the first season was GREAT although there were no subs for the Arabic speaking parts..felt like i was missing a great deal of the overall plot…either way, i loved it, loved all the Jack Ryan movies (1990’s The Hunt for Red October starring Sean Connery and Alec Baldwin played a young Jack Ryan is my fave though, and one of my all time favorite movies period..) John Krasinski simply blows me away…i am currently binge watching “The Office” for the first time so it is hard for me NOT to see his character from that show while watching Jack Ryan, but he pulls it off amazingly with the same bit of quirkiness his character from the Office had yet when he is serious, he is total bad-ass…that is some great acting in my books…anyways, just finished the first season, going on to the second now. Cheers!

Outlander (2008)
Canuckian 5 points 4 years ago.

I consider this a hidden gem mashing up the sci-fi AND Viking Age genres..don’t know how else to describe it lol…I love all movies set in the Viking eras and i also love all things sci-fi…this has BOTH! Not only that, but the Alien monster looks damn cool and is pretty darn scary lol. I come back to this movie every time i see it, so i WILL be watching this tonight. If you like sci-fi and vikings like i do, then give this a shot.

His Dark Materials (2019)
Siks 7 points 4 years ago*.

It is. The Golden Compass was book one of a trilogy, His Dark Materials. The movie kind of flopped because the story is brilliant and touches on almost every aspect of life, love, war, religion and truth, and two hours just isn’t enough time to do it justice. I’m glad they’re making a series so they can tell the story right

Canuckian -1 points 4 years ago.

Thanks for clarifying that Siks…i rather enjoyed the Golden Compass even though it did feel rushed and that there was a LOT missing…even for someone who never read the books it was based on, i got the feeling that a lot was left out…i echo the sentiment that making it into a series is a brilliant idea to allow them to fully explore the source material, providing BBC doesn’t stick their fingers too deep and change any of the source material to make it more “PC” since we all know the BBC is at the forefront of being “Progressive”…they completely ruined the last season of Dr.Who for me..not because the doctor was female, but because they were so blatantly pushing an anti-west agenda where alll things “American” are BAD…surely i wasn’t the only who saw that…anyways, after a few episodes i just couldn’t do it any more…it made me really sad because Dr.Who was one of my absolute FAVORITE shows and the BBC fukking ruined it. ugh. anyways, sorry about the rant lol..i hold out hope for this series since i have only heard all good things!

47 Meters Down: Uncaged (2019)
Canuckian 2 points 4 years ago.

Not too bad..a couple jump scares…now if i waas being nit-picky, i would say that they didn’t have full head gear on, their ears were exposed so there is no way they would have been able to communicate as far as i know (not a diver myself but it seems rather straightforward) I would give anything for a GOOD shark movie…i guess 47 meters (the first one) and The Shallows are the best we will get in this genre for now…they wee both pretty decent…i liked The Meg with all its cheesiness and gore lol, but it was more of an action movie than scary…if anyone has any other shark movies they might recommend, please message me a link, would appreciate it. I give this a 6/10 (The Blonde in the 4-some of girl divers..i think her name was Nicole?.. is Sylvester Stallones oldest daughter i believe..you can see the resemblance :P)

Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan (2018) S1 E3

Did Amazon deliberatley not sub the non-english parts? Feels like i am missing a LOT of plot stuff. REALLY needs subs for the non-english parts…

The Rookie (2018) S2 E5
Canuckian 4 points 4 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

If it came to protecting my own daughter, i would have no qualms (were i a cop) about running a background check on her boyfriends. Call it what you will, but nothing trumps her safety in my eyes. Does that make me a bad Dad though? It is human nature to lie, especially if we have pasts that we want to hide. Then again, there is the trust factor..i would like to think that i am raising my daughter (who is only 10 atm) to show good judgement of character, but people who wear masks are experts at decieving…i guess i have trust issues, and those issues become paramount where my childs safety is concerned. I totally feel Nolans hesitation in this episode.

Babylon 5 (1993) S3 E17

This two part episode was awesome, love time travel stories and this one was good…love it when dots get connected. Think this is the best of this season so far!

Babylon 5 (1993) S3 E3
Canuckian 0 points 4 years ago.

My Mother (RIP) wrote a sci-fi novel when i was very young, and its premise was about a hero rising from the ashes to defeat a more powerful enemy in every way…it was a great novel once i was old enough to read it and understand it..still can’t believe my own Mom wrote such a great novel…then i found out my parents LOVED this show back in the day lol…it was actually this show that helped connect me to my Mom in an even better way as i was always a sci-fi lover. Anyways, it took me forever but thanks to the great people behind PW, i am able to watch this show from the beginning and thus far, this season has been stellar, far better than the first two seasons…and from what i have heard, it only gets better. Can’t wait!

Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)

LOVED the after post scene AND after credits scenes which were all missing from the earlier copy…what a bombshell!! Whee WAS Fury? and WHAT is Parker gonna do after Mysterio did what he did!? Can’t WAIT to see where this Spiderman is going!

Simply love this show. Anything with Fillion in it, i like. Besides him, this isn’t your typical “cop show” or “buddy buddy” cop show…if you haven’t seen Seaspon 1 of this show yet, i highly suggest you do, especially if you are a fan of Fillion.

The Good Doctor (2017) S3 E5
Canuckian 2 points 4 years ago.

“Can i check your other Breast..?” LOL..Way to go Shaun! Every guy has his own “pick-up” line that works best for him..i guess Shaun just found his lol…that scene in the Operating Room with Shaun had me on edge the whole time, i even had to pause it a sec. shaking my head hoping for the best…Freddie Highmore is such a great actor, don’t think many people could pull this role off but he nails it each and every week.

The Warriors (1979)

Still one of my fave movies of all time. Grew up watching it with my older brother and it holds a special place in me. Some very iconic lines that are still used today in this cult classic. An EASY 10/10 from me. “Warriors, come out and PLAAYEEYAAY!!”

Canuckian 2 points 4 years ago.

yeah, other than knowing that Alfred had a military background, that is pretty much all the info there is on his background (unless it was covered in an old comic, i don’t know)..i like to think that THIS Alfred is very similar to the Alfred we got in the TV show GOTHAM…this Alfred seems like a younger version of THAT Alfred (if you’ve seen the show, you should know what i mean lol) Either way, loving this show! Cheers King!

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)
Canuckian 3 points 4 years ago.

This was a really fun spin-off from the F&F franchise consisting of two of the most bad-ass characters in the series (excluding Dom of course lol). Idris Elba rocked it as usual, loved the banter between the two protagonists (though it got a little much near the end but i guess that was what they were going for lol)…i hope they come out with another movie with these two..Statham and Johnson are awesome together. Will be watching this again for sure! 9/10! CHEERS!

Crawl (2019)
Canuckian 4 points 4 years ago.

This was a pretty good edge-of-your-seat thriller flick. Nothing Oscar worthy of course, but a good Saturday night popcorn flick to watch with the significant other. Nice to see Barry Pepper again, haven’t seen him n a movie for awhile. A solid 7/10 from me :) CHEERS!

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)
Canuckian 7 points 4 years ago.

Still one of the best trilogies ever made, and this is one of the best MOVIES ever made. Not a wonder it won several Oscars..can’t believe this came out 16 yrs ago…CRAZY. This will hold up for decades to come surely. Any series they try to come out with in future (like the Wheel of Time or Sword of Truth for eg.) would be hard pressed to top these movies…you would need another Peter Jackson tbh..his vision for these movies was perfect, like he was made to make these movies lol. Anyways, easily 10/10 of course.
