Plus One (2019)

That is a surprisingly great movie.

The Flash (2023)
Rasnac 2 points 10 months ago.

It is a suprisingly good solid movie.

Jules and Jim (1962)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

I know it is a modern classic of the New Wave; and I appreciate it objectively. But I really can not bring myself to like this movie.

Red Notice (2021)
Rasnac 2 points 2 years ago.

It is kinda fun, but cant stick the landing.

VR.5 (1995)
Rasnac 2 points 2 years ago.

This is a cult classic.

Dummy (2020)
Awkwafina Is Nora from Queens (2020)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

I was supposed to watch Tenet, but I binged the whole first season of Nora instead. Totally worthed.

Conan (2010) S2021 E59
Rasnac 2 points 2 years ago.

Farewell Conan. You were the first(and for a long time the only) American late night host I enjoyed watching.

Fargo (2014) S4 E11
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

I think this was the best season of Fargo yet; but unfortunately I am afraid it did not create much buzz; which makes me afraid about the future of this phenomenal TV series.

The Voices (2015)
Rasnac 2 points 4 years ago.

One of the darkest, most wicked, funniest comedy movies I have ever watched.

Ghosts (2021)
Rasnac 2 points 13 days ago.

I watched both British and U.S. version and I am happy to say they are both brilliant, and while having the same general premise, they are very different from each other.

London Boulevard (2010)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

This is a criminally underrated neo-noir movie.

The Dead Don't Die (2019)
Rasnac 2 points 4 years ago.

People who are familiar with Jim Jarmuschs style will enjoy this movie. People who have no idea will find it very confusing. One thing to remember is, despite the marketing, THIS IS NOT A ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE ACTION FLICK.

Space Truckers (1996)
Rasnac 2 points 9 days ago.

Better than any B-movie has any right to be.

Teen Titans Go! (2013) S6 E37
Face Off (2011)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago*.

It was a great show about an art form we rarely see in the mainstream and the creative process. I wish it was still on.

Happy Death Day 2U (2019)
Rasnac 2 points 5 years ago.

This must be one of the best sequels ever. They took the funny but simple idea of the original movie and made it much smarter and complex, yet still hilarious and charming like the first movie. And the lead acterss is very charismatic, funny and talented. I’m guessing she will have a great career.

Narcos: Mexico (2018)
The Company of Wolves (1985)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

Possibly one of the best and most original werewolf movies. It has a unique dreamlike quality to it. A chilling fairy tale with a folk horror twist.

Red: Werewolf Hunter (2010)
Rasnac 2 points 5 years ago.

Felicia Day is the best!

The Witcher (2019)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

Reminded me Xena The Warrior Princess tv series, and The Savage Sword of Conan comic books in the best possible way. The style of fantasy is neither high fantasy Tolkien style, nor grimdark low magic depressive GRRM style; and I appreciated it. It is down and dirty, dark when it needs to be, but also fun and has a sense of humour about it. Not everything hs to be epic after all. There is an over-arching story, but honestly, the stand-alone adventures are much more enjoyable.

In the Mouth of Madness (1995)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

Possibly the best Lovecraftian movie ever made, though it is not based on any particular work of Lovecraft.

Nine Months (1995)
Don't Breathe (2016)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

This is an underrated horror thriller masterpiece.

Dragon Ball (1986)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

Controversial opinion: this show was better than all the Dragonball Z shows that followed.

Ring of Steel (1994)
Rasnac 2 points 2 years ago*.

Best B-Movie about swords ever!

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017)
Rasnac 2 points 4 years ago.

An absolute masterpiece. There are so many emotional twists and turns in this little quiet subtle movie, you have no idea what to expect.

L.A. Takedown (1989)
Rasnac 2 points 4 years ago.

Even if you have watched Heat, I still recommend you to watch this movie. Plot is quite different and the lead actors give really great performences;almost as good as DeNiro and Pacino in Heat.

Foundation (2021) S1 E2
Rasnac 2 points 2 years ago.

Such a disappointment… :/

Only Murders in the Building (2021)
Rasnac 2 points 2 years ago.

This is brilliant. I only started watching because of Martin Short and Steve Martin, but Selena Gomez really surprised me with how good she is. This is the first time I ever saw her on anything, I only heard about her and honestly, I was negatively prejudiced. But it turns out she is an amazing actress. I binged the whole thing in a day, and I am already hungry for more.

I'm Your Woman (2020)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

That is a really solid film noir. It exceeded all my expectations. Brosnahan gives performance of a lifetime.

Chasing Amy (1997)
Rasnac 2 points 4 years ago.

This was the first Kev Smith movie I ever watched when I was a teenager and became a huge fan instantly. Still possibly one of his best works(though I also love his late works), and one of the cornerstones of late 90s indie filmmaking. Watched it a dozen of times since then it still holds up. 10/10

Mr. Right (2016)
Rasnac 2 points 4 years ago.

This is an underappretiated masterpiece.

The Long Good Friday (1981)
Rasnac 2 points 4 years ago.

An underrated British gangster movie masterpiece. An amazing performance by late Bob Hoskins.

Star Trek: Lower Decks (2020)
Rasnac 2 points 3 years ago.

Million times better than Discovery.

Star Trek: Discovery (2017) S3 E1
Rasnac 1 points 3 years ago.

After two seasons of mediocre writing and terrible characters and overexcessive use of lens flares, I am really conflicted if I should give this series a one last chance or not.

Borat Subsequent Moviefilm (2020)
Rasnac -3 points 3 years ago*. (Contains Spoilers)

If Sacha Baron Cohen has a hatred of Russian people and want to ridicule them by using Russian stereotypes, he should at least have enough balls to actually make the movie about Russian people. He should not use the country of Kazakhstan, which is not Slavic but Asian Turkic people, as a convinient proxy just because he knows Kazakhstan is a country unknown in West and he will not get backlash. This is racism; and it is disgusting.

The Shadow (1994)
Rasnac 1 points 4 years ago.

This movie is an underappreciated cult masterpiece. A superhero movie way ahead of its time.

Expedition X (2020)
Rasnac 1 points 3 years ago.

I usually dont enjoy shows like this but Chobot makes it worth it.

One for the Money (2012)
Rasnac 1 points 4 years ago.

One of the rare good Katherine Heigel movies. 3/5

New York, New York (1977)
Rasnac 1 points 4 years ago.

Absolute classic

Red State (2011)
Rasnac 1 points 4 years ago.

Kev Smiths best movie imho. I expected a dark mindless comedy but found a thriller with a heart breaking tragic end. Blew my mind when I first watched it.

Ash vs Evil Dead (2015)
Rasnac 1 points 4 years ago.

This series is an underrated masterpiece. In the future, it will be rememebered as the magnum opus of Sam Raimi.

The Mothman Prophecies (2002)
Rasnac 1 points 4 years ago.

Cult classic

Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
Rasnac 1 points 3 years ago*.

Colonialist imperialist orientalism propaganda at its best(worst)

Child's Play (2019)
Rasnac 1 points 4 years ago.

This is so much fun. Mark Hamill should get an award for his voice work in this movie.

Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)
Rasnac 1 points 3 years ago. (Contains Spoilers)

It is 4 hours long, and it feels much much longer. It is slow af; and I am not kidding, literally half of this 4 hour movie is in super-slow motion. But the good news is, if you manage to stay awake for the first 3.5 hours, it picks up the pace a little for the last 30 minutes or so. Overall, boring af.

Napoleon (2023)
Rasnac 1 points 6 months ago*.

He came from a local noble Corsican family, he couldnt even manage to conuer Western Europe…

Wonder Woman 1984 (2020)
Rasnac 1 points 3 years ago.

This script clearly needed some serious rewrites. Pine, Wiig and Pascal give phenomenal performances with the little character developement given to them, which makes Gal Gadots wooden acting even more obvious. Overall, a pretty weak follow-up the great first movie.

Wolf (1994)
Rasnac 1 points 4 years ago.

Modern classic…
